Bill Daun didn’t do my floors. What he did was teach me the difference between a floor sander and a floor man. Back in the early 70s Bill Daun, owner of Willamette Hardwood Floors, used to help me sand floors on occasion. I left the trade for many years but Bill stayed in and never quite learning all aspects of installation, sanding and finish work. Then in the early 90s I wanted to break back into the industry and Bill was there. He helped me get a job at the Portland floor company where he worked at the time and often taught me aspects of what being a craftsman is all about. Bill and Willamette Hardwood Floors will do a good job for you. He’s a 3rd generation floor man who cares about the details, with a Christian ethic.
